Job summary

Molex, a Koch Company, seeks Engineering Interns for a 12-week summer program at our Lisle, IL headquarters. Interns will join teams supporting innovation, CAD design of electronic connectors, and process improvement acrossMechanical, Electrical, Industrial, and Data Science tracks.

Applicants should be enrolled in STEM programs, pursuing engineering degrees, and legally eligible to work in the United States. The internship runs late May to mid-August 2027 with in-person opportunities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in STEM degree or equivalent program (e.g., 2-year technical college, certificate program, upskilling).
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2029.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Working in CAD software to design electronic connectors.
• Automation of processes and standardized reporting.
• Time studies and lean process improvement to achieve operational excellence.
• Lab testing and quality analysis for connector/cable products.
• Apply statistical analysis to time-sensitive data to observe relationships and identify opportunities for improvement.
