Job summary

Entegris' Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op in Colorado Springs is a Spring 2027 full-time, 6-month assignment. You will assist in creating tools, fixtures, and production aids, while helping scale prototyping to production using lean principles.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering, CAD knowledge (SolidWorks or equivalent), and hands-on lab experience. Collaboration with multiple teams is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent), additive manufacturing, and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and willing to work in a laboratory environment.
• Team player with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic and active environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid in creation of manufacturing tools, fixtures, and production aids including design, 3D Printing, and machining.
• Streamline manufacturing processes and support scaling operations from prototyping phase to production phase.
• Develop and document standard procedures for manufacturing processes.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to both new and existing processes to save cost, increase quality, and improve operations efficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering and operations teams including Automation, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Safety, Systems, and New Product Introduction.
