Job summary

Entegris is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season at our San Luis Obispo, CA site. The assignment is full-time for 6 months, offering hands-on experience in electrical design, prototype support, and process improvement.

You will utilize CAD tools, assist with NPI and production activities, and participate in design reviews and standardization efforts, gaining exposure to real-world engineering workflows and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Pursuing BS or MS in electrical engineering, Mechatronic engineering, or related engineering field.
Experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD software.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Utilize SolidWorks Electrical and DraftSight for electrical drawing updates.
Support prototype, NPI, and production build activities.
Assist Manufacturing Operations with troubleshooting, design clarifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with electrical design reviews and validation activities.
Support product line standardization of control panels, schematics, and electrical designs.
Participate in projects focused on design efficiency, quality, and process improvement.
