Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is hiring an Associate, Manufacturing Engineering in Wilmington, MA. The role focuses on implementing and analyzing manufacturing plans, developing tooling and systems, and coordinating with engineering for new product releases.

The candidate should be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering field and be prepared for responsibilities including cost estimation and process requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.
• Design, develop and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems.
• Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes.
• Interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
• Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
