The candidate will implement lean processes, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and mentor a growing team. Prefer candidates withCreo, Windchill, and NX experience and an existing security clearance or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Graduate degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Ten years of engineering design experience is possible in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides tool engineering direction and leadership to the tooling organization to support production and development programs.
• Develop and utilize processes that promote continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and other Operational Excellence tools.
• Collaborates with site management, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, and product work centers to provide tooling support.
• Coaches and mentors for career development and advancement of team members.
• Possible to obtain a US Security Clearance; travel ~10%.
