Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Ottawa, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Analyst to support the plant with cost and quality initiatives, material availability, and new supplier strategies to keep production running smoothly.

You will lead A3s, coordinate parts, and work with V&V teams, DFMEA, and IDP/Gantt tools, collaborating across levels from leadership to operators to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• 1+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead MOB / Intakes from Procurement that will impact the Ottawa Plant.
• Review Intake and confirm the platform(s) affected.
• Understand changes / parts impacted by the Intake.
• Create A3 to summarize Intake with all related information.
• Review with V&V team requirements to certify new supplier / material change.
• Coordinate new parts / assemblies to submit part.
• Support factory on Fit & Function assembly line issues.
• Lead Cost and Quality initiatives and develop IDP, track activities, and create test plans.
• Get PA approval for changes and keep UL File updated.
• Create Plan of Action for CV, DV, PV builds.
