Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Analyst for the Ottawa, OH site. You will lead MOB/intakes from Procurement, coordinate new parts, and drive cost and quality improvements while serving as the primary contact for material availability and supplier changes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 1+ year of engineering/manufacturing experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. On-site position with a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Engineering or manufacturing experience required.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels from plant leadership to operators.
• Experience using DFMEA, A3, IDP/Gantt for project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead MOB / Intakes from Procurement affecting the Ottawa Plant.
• Review Intake, identify affected platforms, and summarize in an A3.
• Coordinate new parts/assemblies and support Fit & Function issues on the line.
• Lead cost and quality initiatives and track actions to ensure timely completion.
• Develop IDP, QA activities, and test plans with V&V team; obtain PA approvals.
• Keep UL files updated and create action plans to resolve findings from builds.
• Deploy WPD in projects and help guide the project team; gather QA data.
• Map internal data to external data using GSIR codes and prioritize issues based on impact.
