Job summary

LeoForce in Beloit, WI, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize weld and fabrication processes at our Beloit, WI facility. You will design and implement manufacturing processes, improve safety, quality, and efficiency across production lines.

Responsibilities include time studies, SOP creation, root-cause analysis, data collection on performance metrics, and collaboration with engineering and production teams. CAD skills and ERP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor and AutoCAD preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and router creation is a plus.

  • Support existing manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
  • Perform basic data collection and analysis on production performance metrics (scrap, cycle time, downtime).
  • Participate in troubleshooting production issues and assist with root cause analysis.
  • Help implement process improvements under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Support new product introductions by assisting with process setup and documentation.
  • Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve day-to-day manufacturing issues.
  • Conduct time studies and workflow analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all assigned tasks.

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our production processes and ensure optimal efficiency and quality. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between engineering and production teams, working to improve safety, product quality, and overall operational effectiveness.
