LeoForce in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize production processes and equipment. You will apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proven experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control techniques.
  • Familiarity with automation and automation implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a team setting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering software.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with design teams to translate product specs into manufacturing plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process and equipment issues.
  • Train staff on new and existing processes and equipment.
  • Evaluate workflows and assembly methods for improvement.
  • Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders.

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing, and refining manufacturing processes and equipment for optimal efficiency and output.

  • Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
