Job summary

gpac is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing team in a role focused on improving processes, tooling, and production workflows. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and hands-on problem solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree with 3-5 years of experience, including exposure to concurrent engineering and metal fabrication or welding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with concurrent engineering and QA reviews.
• Experience in metal fabrication or welding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Development of SOPs using manufacturing engineering practices.
• Participate in concurrent evaluation and quality assurance design reviews.
• Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs and other documents.
• Design and procure tools/equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, and solve production problems.
• Lead training of assemblers to improve and introduce new processes.
• Prepare/manufacture prototypes using concurrent engineering principles.

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities

• Development of engineering SOP's using manufacturing engineering practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required.
• 3-5 years' experience.
• Excellent time management, problem prevention and solving skills
• MRP Systems experience preferred
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding and topcoat applications is preferred
