Job summary

GeoLogics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on a contract-to-hire basis for our Clearwater, FL facility. US citizenship is required.

The role focuses on designing manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies, with emphasis on continuous improvement and tooling implementation. The candidate will interpret engineering prints, support the production floor, ensure compliance, and work toward conversion to permanent hire after approximately six months.

Qualifications

• Must read/write English.
• Candidate must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
• Experience with General Assembly is a plus but not required.
• Blueprint Reading ability is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies. Cable harness experience and process writing are a plus. Interprets engineering prints to design processes and works with design engineering to implement production improvements. Supports the production floor by working with the operations team and focusing on continuous improvement. Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications.
