Job summary

Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Morristown, TN to design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems. You will collaborate with design teams to refine products for manufacturability, reduce costs, and support reliable production.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, and hands-on tooling design experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PTC Creo, Mastercam, and welding processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with tooling design.
Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PTC Creo and Mastercam.
At least one year of experience with resistance welding.
Experience with hot and cold forming, heat treatment, precision machining, and CNC programming.

Responsibilities

Gather data to develop cost structures, BOMs, routings, and item masters.
Create and maintain BOMs and manufacturing routings in BPCS.
Develop engineering policies for BOMs, ECNs, and production standards.
Collaborate with design and production to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
Provide production-floor support during test runs and debugging.
Review installations for ergonomic improvements and optimize processes.
