Job summary

McBride Executive Search is seeking an Assembly/Manufacturing Engineer for a major employer in the Morristown/Dandridge area of East Tennessee. The role involves high-volume production with both automated and manual processes and supports projects to automate lines.

You will perform process capability studies, develop control plans and PFMEA, and write technical work instructions for equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree preferred; AS with 5+ years in HV manufacturing considered.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing settings and automation.

Job description

Major employer in the greater Morristown / Dandridge area has immediate opening for an Assembly / Manufacturing Engineer. This is a high-volume, fast-paced operation with a mix of state-of-the-art automation and manual processes. The Assembly Engineer will assist on projects to continue automating production lines.
The Assembly Engineer will work on process capability studies, control plans, and PFMEA documentation. Will also write technical work instructions for equipment and processes. PLC troubleshootingexperience is a plus.
Prefer candidates with BS Engineering degree, but will also consider AS degree with at least 5 years Engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing.
