Zaddy Solutions in Morristown, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems and processes. You will partner with designers to refine products for manufacturability, reduce costs, and ensure reliable production.

The role involves BOM management, tooling design, process development, and hands-on production support across machine shops, fabrication and finishing teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with tooling design.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PTC Creo, and Mastercam.
• At least one year of experience with resistance welding.
• Experience with hot and cold forming, heat treatment, precision machining, and CNC machine programming.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data to develop cost structures, BOMs, routings, and item masters.
• Create and maintain BOMs and manufacturing routings in BPCS.
• Develop engineering policies and procedures for BOMs, work centers and routings, ECNs, product development, material standards, and supplier interactions.
• Develop routings for current and standard products and support new process development.
• Provide design support that aligns products with cost-effective manufacturing processes.
• Research materials and suppliers to identify suitable solutions for customer needs.
• Collaborate on new process development initiatives and resolve plant issues with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain close working relationships with Shop, Maintenance, and Materials teams.
• Review installations for ergonomic improvements and optimize practices.
• Match products to processes to maximize use of capital equipment.
• Develop and maintain production standards and engineering documentation.
