Job summary

Algas-SDI is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer in Kent, WA to support daily factory operations, improve production processes, and drive operational excellence. You will be the primary technical resource on the shop floor, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to resolve manufacturing challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering.
• 2–4 years in manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience with ECR/ECN or ECO workflows.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for manufacturing and engineering issues.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Interpret drawings, specs, tolerances, bills of materials for production.
• Support ECR/ECN processes to review and implement changes.
• Create and improve work instructions and standard work.
• Lead continuous improvement to raise quality and throughput.
