Job summary

DEKA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process development, scale complex electromechanical assemblies, and ensure manufacturability as we move from prototype to high-volume production. You will collaborate with design, engineering, and operations to create BOMs, line layouts, and production controls, and lead pre-production builds.

You will work with suppliers and the supply chain to source equipment and materials, optimizing processes for quality, cost, and schedule while building

Qualifications

• Degree or higher with relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in electromechanical assembly and process development.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or green manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficiency with CAD software, SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BOMs, line layouts, assembly instructions and fixtures.
• Plan, lead and execute pre-production builds for scalable production.
• Collaborate with design/engineering to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
• Work with suppliers and supply chain to procure equipment and materials.
• Interface with partners to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
