Job summary

DEKA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to transform innovative medical device designs into scalable, high-quality manufacturing solutions. You will lead DFM reviews, GD&T interpretation, and guide new product introductions from prototyping through full-scale production.

You will optimize electro-mechanical assemblies—machined, molded, cast, PCBA and cables—partnering with design, sourcing, and quality to deliver cost-effective, regulatory-compliant products and ROI-backed launches.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with a manufacturing focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFM reviews and guide new product introductions from prototyping through to full-scale production.
• Evaluate GD&T and component specifications for manufacturability and quality.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain to optimize supplier strategies and cost.
• Develop manufacturing cost models to support design decisions and ROI justifications.
• Drive DFMEA/PFMEA, prototyping, and scalable manufacturing strategies.
