Job summary

Unknown Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a plant site in the southwest Atlanta metro area. The role focuses on designing tooling, implementing productivity improvements, and leading cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

You will work on automation, robotics, PLCs, and ROIA initiatives, with a Bachelor’s degree and heavy manufacturing experience required. Standard hours apply with potential 45–50 hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and MS Office required.
• Experience leading manufacturing projects and tooling design.

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling using 2D/3D software (SolidWorks).
• Implement productivity improvements on production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend design or process changes.
• Develop production processes for new products and changes.
• Conduct FMEAs on designs, materials, or processes.
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimized processing.
• Lead design of experiments, lean, and ROIA exercises.
• Lead design review meetings for new or existing products.
• Create work instructions, statements of work, and inventories.
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, and controls integration.
