Job summary

Calance, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Robotic Welding for a 12-month onsite contract in Princeton, IN. Start date ASAP.

The role focuses on process planning, machine specification, procurement, installation, and project cost control to support manufacturing with robotic welding equipment. Required are at least 1 year of robotic, automotive, and tooling experience, plus a BS in Engineering or equivalent.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years Automotive or Manufacturing hands-on engineering experience.
• 1+ years Robotic Experience.
• 1+ years AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) experience.

Responsibilities

• Process planning and machine specification creation.
• Machine/equipment procurement and installation/trial management.
• Quality analysis, adjustment and cost reduction, and project management.

Position: Manufacturing Engineer – Robotic Welding

Location: ONSITE - Princeton, IN 47670

Pay Rate: $35.00 - $44.00 per hour (W2 Only)

Must be LOCAL or willing to RELOCATE at your own expense

HOURS: MON-FRI 8am-5pm ( 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Process Planning; Machine Specification Creation
• Machine/Equipment Procurement;Installation/Trial Management; Quality Analysis, Adjustment and Improvement
• Project Management; Schedule Control; Budget Control/Cost Reduction; Manufacturing Support/Process Tracking;

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years Automotive or Manufacturing hands-on Engineering experience.
• 1+ years Tooling Design, tooling procurement / jigs and weld tool experience
• 1+ years Automotive or Body Welding Experience, new equipment procurement, new product launch
• 1+ years Robotic Experience
• 1+ years AGV Auto Guided Vehicle Experience,
• Education: BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience

Other Requirements

• * 10%: Travel - Domestic, when needed
• * 12%: Over-time - which covers weekends, holidays, and shutdowns, when required
• * PPE: Will wear Steel Toed Shoes/Hard Hat and Safety Glasses
