Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer at the Orange, VA site. This role supports modernization and automation of production facilities and works within the Missile Solutions Segment's center of excellence for propulsion and energetics development. The Sr.

Associate Manufacturing Engineer will own process improvements, analyze root causes, and collaborate across disciplines. Travel up to 5% may be required; the position requires the ability to obtain a US security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience; graduate degree adds experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support modernization and automation of production facilities and SPC monitoring.
• Identify defects, root cause investigations and implement process improvements.
• Develop tooling, participate in design reviews, and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
• Support energetic assembly and manufacturing operations.
• Travel up to 5% of time.
