Job summary

General Motors in Rochester is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer/Program Manager to support ongoing and launching products and programs. This role will be part of the combined Program Management / Product Launch Team.

You will lead launch milestones, drive program-level quality, coordinate launch activities, and ensure compliance with GM's processes. Collaboration across teams is essential to deliver manufacturable, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with various machining and assembly processes.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot

Responsibilities

• Lead, organize, follow, and ensure results for product changes throughout the lifecycle of the product.
• Deliver launch milestones in accordance with Program Timing.
• Coordinate all associated launch activities for respective programs, following APQP, MQRR, and GM launch processes.
