Job summary
American Chillers is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Product Support) to be the technical backbone behind our chillers after they leave the floor. You will own parts sales, field questions, and documentation such as manuals and schematics.

Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related technical field).
- Strong computer skills and ERP experience.
- Ability to read assembly drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
- Customer-facing confidence when guiding technicians and customers.
- On-site in the Columbia, SC area.
Responsibilities
- Support customers and field techs through start-up, troubleshooting, and warranty questions.
- Own replacement and spare-parts sales.
- Produce documentation shipped with each unit (O&M manuals, electrical schematics, drawings).
- Support the manufacturing process in our ERP (BOMs, routings, work centers, work instructions).
- Collaborate with production to keep the build clean and well-documented.
