Job summary

Steelcase, a global leader in workplace solutions, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for Product Development and Launch. Under limited supervision, you will apply engineering principles to PD&L, ensuring quality throughout manufacturing and leading launch activities at the site while aligning with the project schedule.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of lean manufacturing experience, Windchill and SAP familiarity, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in engineering (or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of lean manufacturing experience with a track record of influencing cost and quality metrics.
• Windchill and SAP experience preferred.
• Familiarity with automation and technology commonly deployed in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to product development and launch, ensuring quality standards are implemented across manufacturing.
• Lead activities at the site to support execution of product launches and meet project schedules.
• Provide cost estimates, PPAP submissions, PFMEA creation, and standard work documentation.
