Job summary

Integra is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Houston to design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes. You will apply mechanical engineering principles to support efficiency, cost reduction, and adherence to product specs.

You will lead process design, optimization, and NPI initiatives, coordinating with design, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth transitions and effective change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Capable of working under minimal supervision.
• Thorough knowledge of production and processes.
• Excellent coordination skills with technical staff and management.
• Efficient problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and reporting to management, including recommendations for capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve manufacturing processes, including workflow optimization, equipment selection, and technology implementation.
• Lead New Product Introduction translations of design requirements into production processes and manage change between design and manufacturing teams.
• Monitor production operations to reduce bottlenecks, waste, and improve efficiency using data-driven methods.
• Establish and maintain quality standards, inspection procedures, corrective actions, and process controls for compliance (EHS).
• Collaborate with design engineers, production staff, quality teams, and operations leadership; partner with OpEx to improve safety, delivery, efficiency, and scrap reduction.
• Provide leadership, training, and coaching to manufacturing teams; establish onboarding programs and ensure SOP alignment with customer and company requirements.
