CPS Inc. in North Indianapolis is seeking a Chemical/Process Engineer with a background in food and beverage manufacturing to drive projects that improve equipment efficiency and process performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading projects.
• Food-grade manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment, automation, and controls (PLC/DCS).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
• No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering projects focused on improving equipment efficiency and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Identify and implement process, capacity, and cost improvements across manufacturing operations.
• Analyze production data, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and perform root cause analysis to improve performance and reduce downtime.
• Support the design, installation, optimization, and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment.
