Timken's Fulton Manufacturing Plant seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize processes, ensuring safe, high-quality production.

The role requires collaboration with production teams to solve complex problems, improve productivity, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Candidates should have a strong commitment to safety and project management skills to drive improvements across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, gauging, controls and mechanical or electrical engineering design principles.
• Experience with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP system.
• Ability to manage projects independently with available support.

Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve safety.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects and oversee contractors and suppliers.
• Problem Solving: Use advanced techniques to develop permanent solutions and conduct root cause analysis.
