Job summary

Timken Aurora Bearing facility seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead quality improvements, optimize systems, deliver capital projects, and mentor the engineering team.

You will partner with plant leadership to translate goals into measurable engineering outcomes, review drawings, and drive manufacturability improvements while advancing cost-reduction initiatives and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• At least five years of experience in manufacturing engineering leadership, preferably in bearings or precision components.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tolerancing and quality practices.
• Experience with CAD/CAE software and tooling/process evaluations.
• Proven project management and capital spending oversight skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to enhance product quality, optimize engineering systems, deliver capital projects, and ensure customer satisfaction at the Timken Aurora Bearing facility.
• Translate business goals into measurable engineering objectives with plant business partners.
• Manage capital projects, reviews of customer drawings, and manufacturability recommendations.
• Apply CAD/CAE tools to process layouts and tooling evaluations for new products and improvements.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and provide technical support to customers.
