Crane Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes in the Radiation Monitoring division. You will analyze production methods, equipment and materials to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.

You will own processes, support the shop floor, and lead process improvements across nuclear product lines in collaboration with multiple departments. The role requires strong communication, ownership, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university required.
• At least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing or Process Engineering.
• Degrees in Mechanical, Electronic or Manufacturing Engineering related areas considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
• Experience with process improvement and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Own manufacturing processes and drive improvements on efficiency and cost.
• Provide day-to-day shop floor support and troubleshooting.
• Create and modify manufacturing travelers and routings.
• Select and implement manufacturing equipment.
• Disposition of non-conforming product and equipment.
• Investigate failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Design fixtures and implement production tooling.
• Create and update manufacturing procedures and train operators.
• Manage engineering changes and capital equipment projects.
• Justify and manage capital projects and improvements.
• Collaborate with operators on data collection and trend analysis.
• Conduct manufacturing process and quality audits.
