ConMet’s Canton, NC plastics manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to analyze processes and drive efficiency across new and existing production lines. You will support development and integration of product lines, identify opportunities for engineering analysis, and propose modifications for better ergonomics and cost‑efficiency.

The role requires a BS in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and SAP experience; CAD/SolidWorks and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Program management experience required.
• Manufacturing and Assembly processes experience and knowledge required.
• SAP (or equivalent ERP system) experience required.
• CNC programming and PLC experience preferred.
• Core Tool (APQP & FMEA) and GD&T experience preferred.
• Ultrasonic/Vibration Welding for Plastics preferred.
• CAD - 3D modeling/SolidWorks experience preferred.
