Job summary

ConMet’s Canton, NC plastics manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support operations by analyzing processes and driving efficiency across new and existing production lines.

You will develop and integrate new product lines, identify improvement opportunities, and redesign workflows to enhance ergonomics and cost efficiency, while leveraging SAP and other ERP tools. This role requires collaboration across teams and a hands-on engineering mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of related experience.
Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes; SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for development and integration of new product lines.
Identify operations that can benefit from engineering analysis.
Analyze operations and propose modifications to improve efficiency.
Redesign workstations for ergonomics and efficiency.
Perform economic assessment of manufacturing alternatives.
Analyze process flow and propose cost-efficient improvements.
Develop cost-effective and robust production processes.
