Job summary

FPC of Savannah outside Burlington, VT is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize fabrication and assembly processes, drive continuous improvement, and shape plant layouts. You will partner with suppliers, VPs, and technicians to implement efficient manufacturing methods and control costs.

The role focuses on developing manufacturing processes, evaluating equipment, and supporting product launches while ensuring quality through testing and standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing engineering experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize fabrication and assembly processes for efficiency.
• Lead or support product launches and related activities.
• Review specs and process flows to understand manufacturing methods.
• Develop quality control procedures to resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors and management on standards and capabilities.
• Estimate production costs and plan schedules.
• Train technicians and guide project teams.
