Job summary

PCC Fasteners, part of Precision Castparts, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support product development, process improvement, and daily production activities at our Irvine, CA location. You will analyze engineering drawings, develop shop routings, and create tooling to ensure high quality output.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, and proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, CAD (SolidWorks), and Excel.

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of statistics and Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write detailed instructions for manufacture of products.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and propose solutions.
• Provide process control systems via instructions, standards, data collection and feedback loops.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve factory performance.
