Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and review manufacturing processes and equipment. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve throughput, quality, and cost, while developing process improvements and training programs for production staff.

The role requires hands-on engineering work, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and IT to scale processes with a zero-defect mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment, material handling preferred.
• Lean concepts, DOE knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, improves, and documents manufacturing processes.
• Implements process control procedures and monitors quality metrics.
• Analyzes process flows to improve quality, cost, and throughput.
• Collaborates with manufacturing to train employees and troubleshoot issues.
• Gathers and analyzes manufacturing data to drive process changes.
• Lead continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT for product changes.
