Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and review manufacturing processes and equipment. The role emphasizes process improvement, lean initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, IT, and production teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating and documenting processes, implementing control procedures, and analyzing metrics to drive quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, material handling preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and Lean concepts.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, improves, and documents manufacturing processes.
• Develops and implements process control procedures.
• Analyzes manufacturing process flows to improve quality, cost, and throughput.
• Coordinate and implement technical training for employees with the manufacturing department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in production.
• Gather and analyze manufacturing metrics and drive process changes.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean implementation to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Collaborate with vendors on specifications, equipment, parts, and quality standards.
• Design and develop manufacturing processes for changes, new products, and tooling.
