Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes across our intralogistics solutions. The role focuses on eliminating bottlenecks, reducing waste, and improving throughput while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities include developing process improvements, training staff, and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and IT to implement data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, improves, and documents manufacturing processes.
• Implements process control procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Analyzes process flows to improve quality, cost, and throughput.
• Collaborates with manufacturing to train employees in technical processes.
• Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems on the floor.
• Gathers and analyzes manufacturing metrics with Quality and Manufacturing to drive changes.
• Lead waste reduction and throughput improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
• Work with SQL databases and data visualization tools to communicate data to stakeholders.
• Coordinate product changes with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
