Job summary
Daifuku Automotive America Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize Reynoldsburg, OH production processes, design and implement manufacturing procedures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role reports to the Production Manager and requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering and lean concepts.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and exposure to SPC/DOE.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
- Design, implement and review procedures and equipment for manufacturing.
- Lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives across the value stream.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality.
- Develop and manage capital projects with budgets and ROI analysis.
- Support Production with troubleshooting and technical problems.
- Gathers and analyzes manufacturing metrics to drive process changes.
