Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a hands-on, on-site role at our Wisconsin operation. You will partner with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance and Engineering to solve manufacturing problems and drive improvements that meet KPIs.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering and 3+ years of experience in a custom assembly environment, with strong communication skills to work across all levels

Qualifications

• Associate degree Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for solving hands-on manufacturing problems to help improve day-to-day performance.
• Strong process improvement skills that help meet KPIs.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and work directly with operators, supervisors, and department leadership to resolve issues.
• Serve as escalation resource for manufacturing problems that require deeper analysis.
• Coordinate efforts to plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Improve processes and eliminate waste in key constraint areas.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in assigned areas.
• Develop and drive metrics in conjunction with Production Teams.
