Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical) or related field.
• 4–7 years of hands-on manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently analyze, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes.
• Experience in lean manufacturing.
• Experience with capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of process capability, cycle time analysis, scrap reduction, and efficiency metrics.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining detailed work instructions, standard work, and process documentation.
• Experience supporting capital equipment installation, commissioning, and process validation activities.
• Hands-on with production teams.
• Advanced problem-solving skills with root cause methodologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing data.
• Strong cross-functional communication across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations by monitoring process performance and responding to issues.
• Develop, document, and maintain work instructions, process flows, routings, and standard work.
• Analyze production data to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Implement process changes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and throughput.
• Support new product or process introductions with setup, trials, and documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and reduce waste, scrap, and labor inefficiencies.
• Champion kaizen events and monitor improvement metrics.
• Sustain improvements by updating documentation and training operators.
• Oversee capital project initiatives from equipment selection to startup.
• Prepare ROI analyses and technical specs for capital requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration for equipment installation and commissioning.
• Support process validation, capability studies, and acceptance testing.
