Job summary

Keystone Solutions Group in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes for medical devices. You will own line performance, troubleshoot production line faults and work cross-functionally to sustain quality.

The role requires problem-solving and strong documentation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in engineering with 2+ years relevant experience; medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to generate and explain detailed procedures and assembly instructions.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and make independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and processes comply with QMS, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Develop system-level design strategies and coordinate implementation for improvements.
• Support design, testing, and refinement of manufacturing systems and subsystems.
• Identify and report improvement opportunities with clear status updates.
• Maximize line utilization, optimize material flow, and reduce scrap.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
