Job summary

Keystone Manufacturing in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead and support the creation, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment, processes, systems, and documentation for medical devices.

The role collaborates with Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance to sustain production, troubleshoot lines, and conduct line/process qualifications.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Medical device manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex process issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and extended hours as needed.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and processes meet QMS, SOPs and regulations.
• Develop system-level design strategies for process improvements.
• Support design, development, testing of manufacturing systems and subsystems.
• Identify improvements and provide status updates plus root-cause analyses.
