Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve complex manufacturing processes and work instructions. You will train personnel, support production, and act as a liaison between Manufacturing, Engineering, and Product Development through all stages of product development.

The role emphasizes process improvement using Lean Six Sigma, cost reduction, and design-for-manufacturability.

Qualifications

• B.S.M.E. degree or similar in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum of three years of related experience or equivalent training.
• Strong training and experience in Lean, 5S, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Work Instructions for manufacturing processes and assembly.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to Manufacturing.
• Train personnel on Work Instructions and processes.
• Liaise between Manufacturing, Engineering and Product Development across all phases.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
• Support design for manufacturability on projects.
