Job summary

GEOTEK in Stewartville, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production processes on the factory floor. You will troubleshoot issues, drive automation improvements, and support capital projects to boost throughput and quality.

The role requires 4+ years in a continuous manufacturing environment, strong problem-solving, and CAD experience. It offers onsite work with a competitive pay and benefits package including 401(k) match and profit sharing.

Qualifications

4+ years in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience with automation systems (PLC/VFD exposure preferred).
SolidWorks or 3D CAD experience and office/plant balance.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using structured root cause methods.
Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce scrap.
Support and enhance factory automation (PLCs, controls, mechanical, hydraulic systems).
Identify and help implement cost-reducing automation opportunities.
Develop and maintain standard work and process documentation.
Conduct engineering trials and analyze production data.
Support capital projects from concept through implementation.
Train production teams on new processes.
