Job summary

GEOTEK LLC in Stewartville, MN is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to improve production processes on the factory floor. You will troubleshoot issues, lead efficiency initiatives, and support automation and capital projects in a continuous manufacturing environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ years of experience, with PLC/VFD exposure and SolidWorks/3D CAD skills. Onsite work with a 50/50 office/plant split. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
4+ years in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
Strong process troubleshooting skills.
Experience working around automation systems (PLC/VFD exposure preferred).
SolidWorks or 3D CAD experience.
Comfortable splitting time between office and production floor.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using structured root cause methods.
Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce scrap.
Support and enhance factory automation (PLCs, controls, mechanical, hydraulic systems).
Identify and help implement cost‑reducing automation opportunities.
Develop and maintain standard work and process documentation.
Conduct engineering trials and analyze production data.
Support capital projects from concept through implementation.
Train production teams on new processes.
