Job summary

Arrow International is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support print and converting operations, driving improvements in quality, throughput, yield, changeover efficiency, and waste reduction across bingo paper and pull tab environments.

The role collaborates with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Automation teams to evaluate processes, lead projects, and identify opportunities for automation and standards across die cutting, collating, and finishing.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong understanding of process improvement, throughput optimization, waste reduction, and changeover reduction.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen.
• Experience measuring and improving OEE.
• Knowledge of print, converting, finishing, and web handling processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects across print, die cutting, collating, converting, and finishing centers.
• Own OEE data collection, analysis, and improvement roadmaps for assigned lines.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase throughput, quality, and yield.
• Drive changeover reduction initiatives using SMED and related methodologies.
• Develop and document manufacturing standards, work instructions, control plans, and process docs.
• Support process mapping, SPC, and root cause analysis activities.
• Identify automation opportunities based on labor intensity, volume, and defect rates.
• Collaborate with Controls and Automation Eng to implement improvements and new technologies.
• Support data collection, OEE monitoring, and manufacturing performance reporting.
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other partners.
• Evaluate and integrate new printing, converting, inspection equipment.
