Job summary

The Manufacturing Engineer – Print/Converting role provides hands-on engineering support to improve quality, throughput, yield, and changeover efficiency across bingo paper and pull tab production environments.

The position requires collaborating with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Automation teams to evaluate processes,

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering or related discipline.
• Experience supporting printing, converting, or similar processes.
• Strong knowledge of process improvement and waste reduction.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen.
• Experience measuring OEE and driving improvements.
• Understanding of print/converting processes (printing, die cutting, collating, finishing).
• Experience creating standards and control plans.
• Familiarity with data collection and MES systems preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects across print and converting work centers.
• Own OEE data collection and improvement roadmaps.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement throughput and yield improvements.
• Drive changeover reduction for high-mix product families.
• Develop manufacturing standards, work instructions, and control plans.
• Support process mapping, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Evaluate automation opportunities with engineering teams.
