Job summary

Arrow Fastener Company, LLC, in Saddle Brook, NJ, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes from concept to production. You will focus on improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing quality, and maintaining a safe workplace.

Collaboration with quality, design, and operations teams will bring continuous improvement initiatives to life. You will work to meet budgetary goals, KPIs, and schedules while exploring automation and equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 0–2 years in manufacturing or production; internships or capstone projects are a plus.
• Strong Excel data-analysis skills; familiarity with Minitab is a plus.
• CAD proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor is desirable.
• Foundational Lean Manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement experience.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Create processes and procedures to meet budgetary goals and KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external resources to drive projects.
• Design and develop new production equipment to improve processes.
• Specify and implement automation systems (e.g. pick-and-place robotics).
• Participate in cross-department meetings to ensure collaboration.
• Support TPM activities and track equipment reliability metrics.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, and layout planning.
• Keep projects on schedule and on budget.
