Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a plant engineer to plan, identify, oversee equipment layout and processes aimed at improving overall plant efficiency. You will conduct studies to maximize workflow and spatial utilization.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field and 3 years of experience, plus AutoCAD/SolidWorks proficiency. Travel up to 50% (domestic and international) to support capital projects and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in plastics, industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process technology to minimize variation and optimize manufacturing while reducing costs and bottlenecks.
• Analyze layouts of equipment, cell design, plant layout, workflow and workforce utilization to remove bottlenecks.
• Support technical teams in root cause analysis for equipment downtime.
• Provide technical input to advance equipment and tooling.
• Lead plant capital improvement projects and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Conduct time studies to optimize production capabilities.
