Job summary
Toyota Material Handling North America in Columbus, IN, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize paint and powder coat processes, improve safety, quality and productivity, and introduce new technology. The role requires hands-on problem solving and collaboration with shop floor teams.
You will become the technical expert for paint and coating operations, drive continuous improvement, reduce downtime, and help implement Toyota Lean Principles across manufacturing, with relocation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
- Associates degree with proven applicable experience acceptable.
- Experience with industrial coating processes preferred.
Responsibilities
- Improve production processes by driving efficiency.
- Identify continuous improvement activities to enhance safety and quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to raise productivity and value.
- Investigate downtime in paint and powder coat areas and reduce it.
- Implement lean production practices to shorten lead times.
