DISHER is partnering with a global manufacturer in Cedar Springs, MI to fill their Manufacturing Engineer position, focusing on improving production processes and supporting equipment and tooling needs. This role collaborates with operations, quality, and engineering teams to drive efficiency, quality, and safety on the floor.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience and proficiency in CAD/CAM software; SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software; SAP helpful.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives across processes.
• Design, install, test, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and reliably on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and Engineers to resolve production inefficiencies.
• Analyze root causes of process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop testing methods to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze production metrics and cost data to identify improvement opportunities.
