Union Technologies, based in Dallas, TX, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support one or more manufacturing cells, monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across the process.

You will read and interpret drawings, apply GD&T, select tooling and fixtures, and contribute to design reviews for manufacturability. A mechanical engineering degree and 3+ years in manufacturing are expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO9001/AS9100.
• Experience in process drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5 standards.

Mansioni

• Develop manufacturing methods and process drawings using GD&T and standard work instructions.
• Must have metal working experience and maintain revision control for drawings.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specs, and flow down requirements.
• Assist in tooling, fixturing, and gauging selection for the manufacturing process.
• Investigate root causes using 8D and 5Why methods and disposition non-conformances.
• Interpret inspection data during development phases and provide recommendations.
• Support technical feasibility assessments for quotes with engineering calculations.
• Provide additional support to the engineering department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
